Hi there! I'm Juanita, an Athletic Therapist dedicated to teaching people how to move, thrive, and achieve their fitness and rehabilitation goals. With a focus on functional fitness, I combine my expertise in exercise science and rehabilitation techniques to design personalized programs that optimize movement, prevent injury, and enhance performance.
I'm passionate about empowering clients with the knowledge and skills to move better and live a pain free life, whether they're recovering from an injury, aiming to improve athletic performance, or simply striving for a healthier lifestyle. Together, we'll cultivate proper movement patterns, build strength, and increase mobility, unlocking your body's true potential and unleashing your inner athlete!
When I’m not in the gym, you can find me working community sport such as hockey, lacrosse, soccer and football. On the sidelines, an Athletic Therapist plays a crucial role in injury prevention, management, and immediate care. We assess and treat injuries that occur during the game, providing first aid, taping, bracing, and other immediate interventions. Athletic Therapists also educate athletes on injury prevention techniques, proper warm-up, and cool-down methods.
